Hinata waited for Deidara to answer to her question patiently and gave him a sweet smile as he answered her. “ Iwa?” She tried to remember if she have ever been her but unfortunately not. “I’ve n-never been there… is it as b-big as Konoha?” she asked interested of what the blonde had to say to her. She usually liked it when people talked to her about them, what they’ve done, where they come from, etc.
Hinata took an other bite of her ramen scanning around the shop hoping to see Naruto-kun but unfortunately he wasn’t there. There’s no chances he could be out here at this time. He was Hokage after all and he had more important business to do than that. She mentally slapped herself for always thinking about the Hokage instead of paying more attention to Deidara. After all, he had invited her out to lunch and it was nice eating along with him. She promised herself not to think about Naruto for the rest of the day. Will she be able too? Well at least not when she was with Deidara, she could do this. Or at least, try to.

Deidara tried to remember what it had been like at Iwa. He wasn't greeted by pleasant memories. It all started with his hands. They rejected him, thought he was a monster. He had good reason to run away. Being free, showing his art, an making them appreicate it. And then Akatsuki. At first he didn't agree. No, he just wanted to continue what he was doing, but they wouldn't let him. He was forced in...it was like his whole past was flashing away before his eyes, just because Hinata had asked one tiny question. He didn't blame her for being curious. He was too, after all.
"Konoha?" Deidara looked up from his ramen, also mentally pushing himself out of those thoughts. Now wasn't the time for unpleasant memories. He looked around the hidden village. It was peaceful, but he never had, and never will have that peace again. "No, its a bit smaller un...not as pretty." Iwa was the Hidden Village of Stone, after all. And stone can't compare to what the First Hokage built.

Hinata on the other hand, studied Deidara as she waited for him to answer. She took an other bite of her ramen before he answered to her question and nodded her head at what he told her. She gave him a sweet smile. “Sounds like a n-nice village.” she commented before dropping her gaze back to her ramen as many other questions ran through her mind.
She thought that Deidara was a very interesting person. He wasn’t certainly like the other guys who only thought about training and be in shape to be the greatest ninja ever. That’s what she liked about her new friend. It was a change from a good majority of the boys in Konoha. Well… except for Naruto and Kiba-kun even if they had their minds in training too…
Maybe she could ask him a few questions without being annoying or something. But first she needed to know something. “ Hum, how old are you?” she then asked but mentally slapped herself for being kind of rude asking that question. Her blush grew brighter and she didn’t dare to look at him. I’m so stupid…

Deidara was surprised by her comment. Nice village? For the love of Kami Konoha was just about the best Hidden Village there was. Or so in his opinion. Pein probably liked Ame better, and Sasori Suna. But Deidara had never, and probably will never, like Iwa. He decided not to answer though, and turned his attention to the ramen for the meantime.
A few moments passed and he decided he had to answer. "Iwa isn't a pretty sight un. It's all made of stone," he explained, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, as it probably was. He remembered lots of things that had happened to him in that nasty village, and none of the things made him even feel comfortable about his former village. Then why was he talking about it as if nothing to a girl he barely knew?
“Hum, how old are you?” Deidara looked up halfway through his ramen. Interesting question un... he thought cheekily, stupid enough not to notice her blush. "Nineteen un," he replied. "You?" It was true he wanted to know more about Hinata. But he proceeded cautiously. After all, what if her questions forced him to reveal something he didn't want to?

Hinata was now poking her indexes together nervously, hoping he wouldn’t mind answering to her question. This was so embarrassing, at least he didn’t seem to notice her bright blush, which was a good thing that is. She nodded her head as he talked about his village thinking he was right of this point; hidden rock village… it had to be made of stone… it was obvious.
I’m stupid, why did I have to ask such a question… she thought, mentally slapping herself. Though she stopped to think about that once he answered to her. Ah, so she was close, nineteen. She slowly raised her gaze up but still didn’t look at him yet. She decided to take an other bite of her ramen before answering again.
“I’m fifteen.” she said with a small voice. Knowing that Deidara was older than her, it made her blush some more. At least, no one seemed to notice the two of them. She didn’t know why she was this nervous around Deidara, she was usually like that only when she was around Naruto-kun… wait scratch that she wasn’t supposed to think about him. But… why was she nervous like that? Did she develop a crush on the blonde sitting beside her? Her eyes widened slightly at the thoughts and her cheeks turned to an other shade of red. It can’t be… she thought shaking her head slightly trying to shove this thought away.

Deidara felt something was off. Well, not exactly. Maybe he had missed something or other? The blonde couldn't pinpoint it, so he dismissed it for nothing. He didn't even know what it was called. Premonition? The sixth sense? Nope. They all sounded weird and somewhat scientific. All he could do now was wait for her reply. Oh, apart from eat the ramen of course. He had almost forgotten about it, talking to the pretty girl beside him.
Deidara remembered now, and lowered his chopsticks, scooping into the bowl. He grabbed some of the noodles and ate, loving the taste. Of course, usually he would eat quicker, but he felt it was better to show good manners in front of Hinata. He felt a feeling drawing him to her. A bond? Maybe. Deidara hadn't had a bond with someone else from Akatsuki for ages, for fear that they might reject him, or hate him. So what was the feeling now? How was he supposed to know that Hinata would still like him the moment he took off his gloves?
He didn't know. The truth was, he didn't know anything. The reply came, snapping Deidara out of his thoughts, then bringing him back into them. Fifteen and Nineteen. Not so much apart. Stop thinking about that! he snapped to himself, clearing his mind and trying to find another conversation. "Hinata...do you have any siblings hm?" he asked curiously, wondering if it was the best question to ask right now.

Hinata continued to fix at her ramen. She just couldn’t believe she had developed a crush at their first meeting. Plus, how a guy like him would like someone as shy and like someone who doesn’t have self confidence as her? It as impossible; like it was impossible for her to end up with Naruto. She mentally schooled herself for thinking about him when she was with Deidara. Didn’t she tell to herself not to think about the other blonde guy?
Her thoughts were interrupted once again by a question he asked her. Did she have siblings? Yes of course. She smiled a little and nodded at his question. “ Hai, I have a little sister…” she said softly before taking an other bite of her ramen. They taste very good and she thought she had made a good choice by going there.
She slowly raised her gaze once again wondering about if she should ask him the same question. “W-what about you?” she asked eating some more ramen and realising she had finished to eat all her bowl. She placed her chopsticks beside her and asked for a glass of water. [/size]

Deidara hadn't thought of his question before, but now he was curious. He wanted to know a lot about Hinata, and this time not for the benefit of Akatsuki. He wanted to know her likes and dislikes, friends, and basically a lot of other things to ensure that he didn't make a mistake in the future when they meet again. No, if they meet again. How likely was a S-classed criminal in Akatsuki going to meet a Konoha kunoichi again as friends? Just about 1% chance.
And yet he did have some longing to meet her again. Perhaps somewhere else. Or not. Deidara didn't mind where or when in the slightest. "Hai, I have a little sister." That made him wonder again. "W...what about you?" The blonde looked up in surprise. Nobody had ever asked that question before. He shook his head, then began to expand a little further. "I was a single child un..." he explained. ((OOC: He was a single child right? I can't remember hehe))

Hinata didn’t mind to answer to Deidara’s question. Anyways, she just didn’t have to answer to him if she didn’t want to but she felt like being more open to this one. She had the feeling that they could become very close friends. Which would be already great. She nodded slightly as he told her he was single. It might be boring to be a single child. She knew how it felt before she had her sister to play with.
“W-wasn’t it hard at times b-being alone?” She dared to ask him curiously. She knew that Naruto hadn’t have a great childhood, the other kids who have rejected him and all. They only started to respect him when he became a ninja… Look at him now being an Hokage and respected by everyone. He had certainly reached his goal she thought while poking her indexes nervously.
Ooc: don't ask me that lollll I dunno -shrugs-

Deidara looked up from his ramen at the question. Was it hard to be alone? He had always been alone, even from the start. Sure, he had parents, but they detested him like a monster. The other children did too, as did the rest of the village. And so he was convinced that he was a monster. That was, until he had found happiness in blowing things up art. That was his only escape, and he cherished it.
This time, he thought carefully before replying. "I was always alone un..." he said softly, trying to hide the grimace on the reflection of his past. He had never told anyone, really, what his past was like. What it was like being rejected. But then again, why should he? He had found people who had accepted him, even if it was a criminal organisation. "From the start," he continued dryly. "It wasn't nice being alone un, but I coped."

Hinata listened to what Deidara had to tell to her and nodded understanding. Thinking about it, she has somehow been alone as well. Finding more interest into her sister, Hinata has been left out. It was hard at times but she managed to have friend and fill a bit the loneliness which sometimes was heavy to bear.
That’s also one of the reasons of why she wants to be stronger. To prove to her father that he was wrong to left her out like that and also because she could prove him she was strong. “I know how it felt.” She said softly. “But I also managed to find a few things to entertain me when I was. Like having friends. I don’t know where I’d be without them.”

Hearing her story made a small bitter smile appear on his lips. "Friends huh?" Deidara ran the word over with his tongue. Foreign. Something he never had. He couldn't tell her he didn't have any friends. Deidara didn't know what her reaction was going to be, but he just couldn't. He thought that perhaps she had the same life as him. Or maybe a little different. Yet he couldn't see a reason for her to have such a terrible life. She was normal, or at least he thought.
Suddenly Deidara felt like lifting the burden. If he was going to form a bond with Hinata, he couldn't hide anything from her. "Hinata..." he asked softly. "D..." He hesitated. It wasn't easy, telling a somewhat stranger about his 'problem.' "Do you want to know...why...everyone rejected me hm?" He rushed over the last words quickly, as if not wanting to say it, because he truly didn't.

Hinata nodded slightly as he mentioned the word friends. She started to wonder about if he had had friends as well. But then, she remembered that he had had a though childhood. She frowned at the though but immediately raised her gaze after Deidara spoke. She tilted her head to the side as he asked her about if she wanted to know why people wanted to reject him. “Y-yes…” she said shyly.
She started to wonder about what made everyone reject such a nice person as Deidara; to her point of view of course. It seemed that Hinata liked outsiders… like Naruto and now Deidara. They were both different from everyone else and that’s what she liked about both of them. “B-but you d-don’t have t-to if you d-don’t want to…” she murmured.

There was enough hiding, Deidara had decided. Whether she would still like him or not after this, he didn't know. But living in such an existence, faking everything, was just too much. He hadn't been born to be an actor or spy or anything. No, he had been born to show others his art. And his hands helped his art. If Hinata didn't like what she saw, the blonde would deal with it. Of course, he wouldn't deal with it well, but he would.
"Okay..." Tentatively, Deidara lifted his left hand, and gently took the glove off. He was cautious just to show the back of his hand before turning it around. "You might not like it un..." he added, a few seconds before slowly turning his hand over. The mouth was closed right now, but he would make it open soon enough. Now wasn't the time...He wondered what Hinata would think of him from now on. A monster? Probably. Only time would tell.

Hinata wondered about why the others would reject him. He was normal after all… well he looked more feminine than the other boys but it was probably of his long hair… though she liked them like that and smiled softly at the man sitting beside him as he started to take off his glove but then when he said that he might not like it she gave him a curious expression. “Hum why w-wouldn’t I-“ She stopped to speak as she saw his hand. Well the mouth in his hand.
She didn’t find it disgusting or anything of the sort. In fact she was fascinated by this. “Wow…”she murmured grabbing his hand in her hands. She hoped he didn’t mind that fact. “Does i-it feels thing like every m-mouth?” she asked as one of her fingers traced around his hands though didn’t touch it. She knew it was a stupid question to ask but she wanted to know. She was curious about his second hand. After all, he was probably the only one to have that…
