Nobody could be quite sure what brought Shikamaru to this place. The bridge where his former sensei had fought. Many might think he was here to remember the times. Perhaps that was true. Or maybe not. The latter came to mind when one spotted him, head tilted upwards and eyes intent on the sky. Doing his favourite hobby apart from sleeping. Watching clouds.
There weren't a lot of other places to watch clouds. Most of Konoha was too crowded, and he really couldn't be bothered climbing all the way up to the Hokage head faces just to watch clouds, when there were so many just as good places. He was lazy remember? There he stood, the bridge handles supporting his back as Shikamaru's imagination whirrled. One could could be a dog, which in seconds transformed into a plant, then it looked like a seat somewhere in a park.
Suddenly, and somewhat to his horror, the cloud transformed into the face of his former sensei Asuma. Ironic, no? He didn't want to think about that. Not today. Not now. Rapidly, his eyes searched for another fascinating cloud just as the former one dissolved into another shape. Maybe he had imagined it. Shaking it off, his eyes drifted to other clouds, although not as eager as he was before to continue his hobby. Maybe he was better off sleeping...

Neiji grunted as he was walking in Konoha’s streets looking for his cousin Hinata-sama. Why was he the only one who had to do this annoying job? He had better things to do than looking for her. Besides, she was old enough to take care of herself; it was his opinion. He had been walking around for all the afternoon long; what a waste of time it was. He could have been spending it into training but no.
He asked a few people if they knew where she was and heard that she was on the bridge. Good. He quickly headed over to there and once he finally he made up to the bridge wondering about why on earth she would be there as he saw the young chunnin waving at him. He sighed. “Hinata-sama, you need to get back home, your father wants to talk to you…” he said.
Hinata who had been passing by, noticed her cousin and nodded her head slightly before running off to the Hyuuga manson. Neiji watched her go thinking that she didn’t need help out to find her house and noticed no one but Shikamaru Nara. He arched an eyebrow wondering about why he could be on a bridge instead of in a park… this guy sure was lazy he thought. He guessed that Destiny made him like that. Perhaps he could have a chat with him. He walked over to him and looked down at the lazy kunochi. “hey…” he said as silver eyes looked up at the sky.

Kiba was out walking around with Akamaru walking with and the dog seem to take up a lot of room. As he walked he saw he Hinata go by who seemed to be in hurry so he did not stop to say anything to her. Then he saw Shikamaru and Neiji on the bridge up ahead. So he deiced to wounder over to them. "Hey Shikamaru and Neiji whats going on." Kiba said to the both of them as Akamaru sat down next to his owner.

Asuma's face kept swimming in his head, even though the Chuunin tried to push his former sensei out of his mind. "Stop bugging me already, you're dead and its over for you," he muttered to the face, and it was soon wiped out of his mind. That man sure was troublesome...
"Hey," Shikamaru's head snapped down from the sky, to see that the voice belonged to none other than Hyuuga Neji. In the distance, he saw Hinata run off, but focused his immediate attention on Neji. "Hey...what are you doing here? I thought you would be training." So he did. The Hyuuga prodigy spent almost all his spare time to train. It was a wonder why he even talked to a lazy guy like him.
"Hey Shikamaru and Neji whats going on." Great. Inuzuka Kiba. Shikamaru didn't have to look to recognise the voice. "Kiba? What are you doing here?" he asked, momentarily unaware that he had asked exactly the same question to Neji a moment ago. "And nothing's going on, why?"

Neiji glanced back to the other chuunin as he talked to him. “I would… if people didn’t keep interrupting my training… I had to look all around Konoha to look for Hinata-sama.” a inaudible sigh escaped his lips before growling a little as Inuzuka appeared in the picture. It’s not that he didn’t like the boy… who was always around Hinata-sama.
Neiji knew that Kiba had some sort of feelings for Hinata; which she seemed not to notice about, and always kept an eye on this one if only he dared to get to close to her. At least she wasn’t with him once again, which was a good thing, in his opinion.
“Yeah… nothing’s going on.” he simply replied not even pecking a glance to the dog boy. Besides, he didn’t feel like being Hinata-chan’s bodyguard this day; he had already been the ‘Hinata-fetcher’ and it was enough for now.

Kiba felt like Neiji and Shikamaru did not want around. "Wow a guy says hello to two people and he gets a very well off putting felling." Kiba said. What was with these two sure he knew Shikamaru was a bit down since Asuma had dead. He also knew Neiji did not really trust him since he hung around Hinata to much.

Shikamaru couldn't resist chuckling a bit. He was Kiba after all. If someone like Shino came along and said that...well, lets just say everyone had different personalities. Nevertheless, today he just wasn't in the mood to jump around and be all hyper. He was supposed to be relaxing, after all, and that came in the form of cloud watching, playing shoji or just plain sleeping.

Neiji let out an other inaudible sigh at Kiba’s comment. These days, Hinata seemed to be thoughtful, or mostly to worry about stuff and he didn’t like that at all. Something inside of him said it was partly because of Inuzuka. He glanced over to him. He decided he’d find what was wrong and asked to Kiba. “Hinata is not like herself recently… Did something happen between you and Hinata, Kiba?”

Kiba wounder what he should say to Neiji he knew if he lied Neiji would know. He deiced that it was best to say at least something "Well you could say, but right now I really don't want to talk about it and if don't like that then you just go to hell." Kiba said.

Neiji rolled his eyes slightly at Kiba’s rudeness. He had only asked a question and he was now showing up his temper. Inuzuka wasn’t certainly a good man for Hinata-sama. She could have someone much better than him. “You don’t need to be impolite. I only asked if something happened and it’s fine if you don’t want to talk about it for now…” he mumbled not really carrying about the dog boy’s thoughts.

Shikamaru yawned, ignoring Neji's question and glancing up at the sky. The clouds were so nice...But then he snapped back to earth, hearing Kiba's reply. It sounded like they were going to get into an argument, and that would be troublesome to break up. "Alright, you two, chill," he said in a bored tone. It was unusual for the lazy Chuunin to be telling an Inuzuka and a Hyuuga prodigy to chill, but you gotta believe your eyes...Or do you?

Neiji glanced at Shikamaru as he felt like saying that Kiba was the grumpy one. He had asked a simple question and it wasn’t his fault if the Inuzuka boy was being impolite. Though, for once he shut up not in the mood to kick his ass… it’d be too easy to do so anyways and preferred to let it go… only for this time. Besides, it was unusual for Shikamaru to break up an argument session… what was wrong with him? He arched an eyebrow but didn’t want to know about it and looked up at the sky instead finding it more interesting.

Kiba was glade Shikamaru had said something since he was sure if he hadn't Neiji would have kept arguing with him. Yet it was strange for Shikamaru to break up an argument there must have been something really bother him. "Hmm alright well I can stay clam I guess." Kiba said.

Great. Now they thought he was weird. Shikamaru sighed and followed Neji's gaze to the sky. It was unusual for the Hyuuga prodigy to find something interesting in the sky. That was usually his interest domain. Yet, nothing stayed the same forever. He knew there was something going on between Kiba and Hinata, and as curious as Neji as he was, the lazy guy decided not to ask for now.

Neiji didn’t add any comments about what had happened. It thought it was useless to do so anyway. He didn’t know why but he felt like staying there with the company of… friends? He wasn’t sure if they were his friend but he trusted them enough for now to hang around with them. He guessed he wouldn’t know anything about Kiba and Hinata unless he asked to his own cousin what was happening.
